Design and fabrication (with colleague Stephen Pack) of an exhibition and book launch installation for Polyphilo: or The Dark Forest Revisited by Alberto Pérez-Gómez. Configuration of the exhibition was inspired by the two intersecting themes of the book: technology (represented by aircraft) and the human body. The apparatus was fabricated from banal, omnipresent, but high-tech products (steel studs) assembled in unconventional ways to exploit their sculptural value in place of their structural efficiency. The doubly curved spandex covering intercepts the projected image, entangling the flesh of the body in the steel frame of the screen.
